Can
I have more than one alerts for the same contest?
Yes, you can set up as many alerts for each and every contest as you
like. You can have a reminder, say, a week before the event
and then another one the day before. The only restriction is
that you can only set up two alerts (with different warning times)
against the "*All Contests* categories
How
do I unsubscribe to the alerts system ?
If you no longer want to receive email alerts for contests, just
go the your contest calendar here enter your email
address, then click on the "Delete" button against each of the contests.
Once I have received a alert do I have to reset the alarm ?
No,
the alarm will reset automatically once the contest date has passed.
You might see an "Expired" alert in your contest calendar, this is to
show that the email alert has been set, but the contest has not yet
started.
I
haven't received my email confirmation details, what do I do now?
You should receive an confirmation email after setting up your first
contest alert entry. If you haven't received an email after an hour
the problem might be that you entered your email address incorrectly.
Set up another entry from this page,
taking care to entry your email address correctly. If you still don't
receive an email please contact the administrator, who
will investigate.
My
email alerts didn't arrive when I expected , what's wrong?
Your email reminders should arrive within 5 minutes of the alarm shown
in your calendar. However the email system can be unreliable and is
dependent on your Internet service provider being able to deliver your
email in a timely fashion. If you are experiencing constantly late
alerts please contact the administrator who will try and investigate.
How do I change the time of my alerts?
if you would like to change the alarm time for one of the contests in your calendar then just
go the your contest calendar here, then enter your email
address to see your calendar. Click the "Delete" button against the alert you want to change, then click on the "Add another Contest to your calendar" link to set up the new alert.
I have deleted an alert my mistake, how do I reset it ?
When
you delete an entry in your calendar you will receive an email
containing a link which you can use to re-enable the alert if it was
deleted by mistake.
